Annual Earth Arts Fall Salon -
an art exhibition for the community
Each year, the third weekend in October, the members of Earth Arts have a group art show as a gift to the community and as a way to stretch our artistic boundaries. The show is based on a theme, one voted on by the membership. Participating artists create something based on their individual interpretation of the theme and we collectively bring these pieces together into an exhibition, a salon. The results have been breathtaking.
Participating artists have a chance at winning one of three prestigious "Salony" awards. Awards are given for Best Interpretation of Theme (a new judge is recruited each year), Exhibitor’s Choice (chosen by Earth Arts members present at the opening reception), People’s Choice (chosen by Salon attendees at the opening reception).
In year's past, the Salon has taken place at the Café Wren in Luck, WI. In 2010, after the show at the Café Wren, the Salon went on the road to the ArtZ Gallery in Amery, WI, for a 10 day run.
